While responding to a Box Alarm on Berkshire Drive in Company 32’s area, Michael was struck by Engine 27 while it was backing up and later died from injuries sustained. This accident brought about many changes in Prince George’s County, including the addition of a General Order stating the Officer in Charge must back up apparatus.

Leslie has volunteered at other area stations, and is a past fire commissioner of Prince George’s County.

The Officers and Members of Morningside are proud to announce three more of our volunteers have successfully obtained their EMT, and two more members became an Ambulance Driver and Ambulance Attendant.

Morningside operates on an extremely limited budget. We would like to thank NBVFD for donating their old couches and chairs to the MVFD.
