Many people who contact us stress their need to serve others as a reason they want to volunteer. Clearly, we value the contributions of our members. Our members come from all walks of life and we enjoy the diversity we have. As anyone can see, the enthusiasm of our members keep us performing at the highest level. Therefore, if you would like to consult with our recruiter on how you can serve let us know.

Orientations

No pressure interviews. Our process allows you to explore how you see yourself fitting in to our organization. Essentially, we do this once a month, to help everyone who seeks opportunities to serve, to know that everyone can contribute in some manner. Therefore, whether you want to answer phones, file reports or teach children about fire safety we have a place for you. We meet monthly to allow the curious or interested people to get to know us and the processes we use to prepare for, mitigate, respond to or recover from disasters and emergencies.

Therefore, if you are in the neighborhood and you are looking for the spice of life, we have it. As, you know variety is the spice of life and as you can imagine we have something for everyone. If you are a fire fighter, you ride the rescue squad, you provide emergency medical services or you like to teach, we have room for you. We are an all volunteer company providing services 24 hours a day. Bring your talents to us. Our Orientation Program will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 12 pm at the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department.
