The New Generation of Fire Fighters and EMS Providers

Upon Reflection We Have Taken This to a Whole New Level

When looking at the history of the Fire Service in Prince George’s County those who served had a vested interest in the community. Those who served lived within the Town. No disrespect to them, they served with distinction and they protected their properties and the lives of their families. Our members have elevated their commitment by serving others in a more noble fashion. The members of the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department serve as a noble class of citizen. Our motives are purer and our “WHY” is stronger. We serve in a land that is not ours. We serve because we must. Our “WHY” is our driving force.

We Train to be the Best

Our members understand the science of what we do. We employ our skills in a whole new environment. We work in the realm of the Political but are not politically motivated. We build a more sustainable economical structure but we do not serve to serve our personal economic needs. Our social order is deeper than most social groups and we build stronger ties as we serve in the face of danger that tests our social constructs. The technology of today’s service is light years ahead of our predecessors. We do not shrink from legal challenges but we grow despite them. The environmental factors that threaten our existence keep us training to anticipate threats to our very lives as we ply our trade.

Come Join the Future of the Fire and Emergency Medical Services

We are certain of our future because we drive the conversations and we anticipate and direct our energies to thrive while others survive. Our strength is that we learn from each of our members experience and perspective. We respect the contribution of our members and acknowledge their contribution to a society that they have adopted. Our brand is well known. We have a lot to be proud of and we want you to Join Us!!!
